Multi-Activity Bookings

Allow guests to reserve multiple activities with different start times in the same reservation.

If you want to sell multiple activities in one reservation, the Multi-Activity Feature makes it easy. This guide will show you how to enable and set up multi-activity reservations step-by-step.

What does this cover?

This article will teach you how to:

  • Enable multi-activity reservations for your venue.
  • Set time windows for additional activities.
  • Add discounted packages for additional bookings.

By the end of this guide, you'll know how to let customers seamlessly book multiple activities in one flow and incentivize them to do so.

Setting Up Multi-Activity Reservations

  1. Enable Multi-Activity

    • Go to the activity you want to set up (e.g., Bowling Lane).
    • Scroll to the bottom and toggle on Allow Multi-Activity.
  2. Set a Total Time Window

    • Define the time frame when additional activities can be booked.
Example: Allow bookings for up to 2 hours after the main reservation.
  3. Add Additional Activities

    • Select which activities (packages) can be added. You can determine whether the additional activities are required or optional.
    • The selected activities will use the existing schedules and settings.

Testing Multi-Activity Reservations

  1. Booking Flow Preview

    • Go to the reservation page and select a date and time for the main activity.
    • After selecting the main activity, the system will display an Add Additional Activities Page.
  2. Add Multiple Activities

    • Customers can select additional activities (e.g., Billiards, Axe Throwing).
    • The system ensures that activities don’t overlap and are scheduled back-to-back.
  3. Required Activities

    • If you want to require certain activities (e.g., Laser Tag), mark them as mandatory in the settings.
    • Customers must select a time for the required activity before moving forward.

Pro Tip: Discounted Additional Packages

  1. Create a Discounted Package

    • Clone an existing package.
    • Adjust the pricing to offer a discount for add-on activities.
  2. Hide the Discounted Package

    • Mark the discounted package as hidden so it doesn’t appear in the main flow.
  3. Attach Discounted Package to Multi-Activity Flow

    • Go back to the main activity (e.g., Bowling Lane).
    • Add the discounted package as an option for the multi-activity flow.
