How to Create Category Tabs on Your Reservation Page

Create custom categories on your reservation page by assigning tags to your packages

What are Create Category Tabs?

Category Tabs allow you to better organize your packages on your reservation page. Instead of one laundry list of packages, Category Tabs let you assign your packages to relevant categories so your guests can easily find and reserve the activity they are looking for.

How to Create Category Tabs?

In order to create category tabs on your reservation page, you must first assign tags to the desired package(s).

Login to the admin dashboard and navigate to VenuesVenue LocationPackages

From the "Packages" tab select the Package you want to assign a Tag to. Once you have selected the desired package, scroll down and locate the section titled "Package Tags"

The "Package Tags" section will prompt you to enter a name for your category in the "Package Tag" input field. In the image below the category tab is titled "Party Packages."

Assign a Priority
The Priority will dictate the order in which your tabs appear on your reservation page. The higher priority tags will show first. The range is from 1-100 with 1 being the lowest and 100 the highest priority.

Turn On the Tag

To activate the tab on your reservation page, click the toggle ON and click save changes.

Check your reservation page to confirm the package tab is now appearing as intended.

A package can be assigned to multiple tags. You can do this by clicking the "add tag" link and following the steps above.

Follow these steps for all packages that you wish to assign to a category tab.

Hide the "All" Tab

If you want to only display the category tabs and hide the "All" tab you can do so by following these steps.

To hide the all tab, and only show the tabs that you have created go to the Settings page and click the "Global" tab. On the right side you will see a panel titled "Global Settings"

Toggle the "Hide All" switch On to hide the all tab from your reservation page.

Settings -> Global -> Hide All Tab
