Mark a Transaction as Paid

If a customer pays cash or paid already, you can now mark that transaction as paid and how it was paid

Before this update, staff had 2 options when creating a walk in in the host app.

1. Enter their card information to mark the transaction as paid

2. Skip the payment, marking the transaction as unpaid.

And there was no way to unmark that transaction if the customer ended up paying.

Today's feature fixes that problem, as you can now mark a transaction as paid or partially paid.

If they're a walk in paying cash

During the creation of the reservation in the host app, simply click Mark as paid instead of skip transaction. This allows you to mark the reservation as paid without taking any card information.

If they pay later

If an existing reservation has the "unpaid" status, go to the check-in page in the host app. Find the reservation, and within actions in the top right, click mark as paid and appropriately mark how much was paid. A full payment rids the "unpaid" status.

How to Mark the Source

You can also mark a source for how the reservation was paid. To do so:

1.) Enter the location you would like to set up mark as paid source for

2.) Navigate to the host tab

3.) Scroll down until you see the "Mark as paid toggle"

4.) Under the toggle, when toggled on, you can input your sources for mark as paid.
