Connect Rex to Stripe and start collecting payments.
Overview
With the Stripe and Rex integration you can start accepting payments on your reservation page in no time.
The Stripe configuration is set up at the venue level. If you have multiple locations, the integration must be done for each venue. Each venue can be connected to the same Stripe account or to different accounts, depending on how you want the funds to be distributed.
Connecting to Stripe
To start setting up your Stripe connection, login to the admin dashboard and navigate to the "Venues" page on the left hand side. Select the venue you want to set up from the Venues page.
Once you have selected the desired venue, click on the "Integrations" tab and scroll down the the ""Payment" module.
Find the dropdown titled "Payments" and select "Stripe V3" from the list of options.
Next click the "Connect with Stripe" button. This will open a pop up prompting you to log in to an existing Stripe account, or create a Stripe account.
After successfully logging in or creating a new account, Rex will automatically connect with your Stripe account. You'll want to verify that the connection is "connected."
If the status is anything other than "connected," either wait 24 hours to see if the issue resolves, or verify that there are no urgent tasks that must be completed in your Stripe account!
You may disconnect the connection at any time by clicking on the "Disconnect" text link.
It is critical to test your Stripe connection by making a reservation and ensuring that funds are going to the intended bank account.
