Taxes and Custom Fees

With REX you have the ability to customize taxes for each package across all your locations. You can also set custom fees for all your activities.

Taxes are figured for each individual venue, so be sure to update your taxes at each venue. 

Set Your Sales Tax

Here you can set your sales tax at your venue, but let's say there are different types of taxes that you have.

Additional Taxes

Scroll down on the same page to Additional Taxes. Here you can add any additional taxes that might occur, for example, an entertainment tax. Be sure to Save Changes.

Apply to Packages

Now that the taxes are created, you must now apply the taxes to your packages. You must apply these taxes on a package by package basis, because not all taxes may apply to every package.

By clicking Edit within the Reservation Taxes module, you can now check the boxes of the taxes that occur for this specific package.
