Guide to the Check In Page

A highly detailed guide explaining our new check in page within the Host App

Default Mode

Without manually toggling on "Enable Check In," your check in page will be in default mode.  In this mode, the check in page is another way to view your reservations for the day. Your reservations for the day are organized into: Upcoming, Completed, or Canceled, with Tripleseat Synced cards also being available to view.

Upcoming

Cards within this tab are reservations with time's that are not completed yet. If you would like to separate reservations that have not arrived vs are currently at the facility, we recommend toggling on "Enable Check In," which will be described below.

Completed

Reservations within this tab are past their end times. For example, if the time is currently 10:00pm, any reservations with an end time earlier than 10:00pm will appear in this tab.

Cancelled

Reservations that have been cancelled will appear in this tab.

Check In Enabled Mode

Venue -> General -> Toggle on "Enable Check In"

When enable check in mode is activated, you'll gain access to two new tabs within the check in page: "Checked in" and "No Show"

Checked In

Cards within this tab have been verified and checked in by your front desk. You must manually place guests into this tab by clicking the "check in" button on the top right of their details. This button will only appear for "upcoming" reservations.

Completed

Unlike in default mode, not all cards past their end time go to the completed tab. Only cards that are past their end times and have been checked in are moved to the completed tab.

No Show

Cards that are past their end times and have not been checked in will be moved to the no show tab. 

Actions

Within the check-in page, not only do you have high level information regarding reservation details, you also have high level actions available by clicking actions in the upper right of your guest details:

View on Calendar

Clicking this will take you to this reservation in the calendar view.

Assign Resources

Quickly edit or assign additional resources to this reservation.

Cancel Reservation

Cancel the reservation (moves the reservation to the canceled tab)

Resend Email

Clicking this will resend their confirmation email with all their details.

Modify Reservation

Modify times, resources, or packages quickly

Refund Reservation

Refund any percentage or dollar amount of the reservation

Manual Sync

Sync the reservation to Tripleseat manually

Send Payment Link

Send a link for the guest to pay for all or the remaining balance of their reservation.
