Create a membership plan
Create a recurring or one-time membership plan with pricing, trial periods, tags, and tax rules.
Navigate to Memberships
The plans list shows all existing plans. Stripe must be connected before you can create a plan.
Open the Create Plan form
A modal opens with all plan configuration fields.
Enter plan details
The short description appears in the plan card on your memberships page. The long description supports rich text formatting.
Configure pricing
For recurring plans, enter rates in any combination of Monthly, Annual, Quarterly, or Biannual fields. You can only use one billing interval per plan — fields lock once a rate type is set. For one-time plans, enter a One-Time Price and optionally set an Expiration Date.
Add a free trial (optional)
Free trial is only available on recurring plans.
Add a setup fee (optional)
The setup fee is charged once at signup in addition to the recurring rate. It cannot be changed after the plan is created.
Add tags (optional)
Tags identify what the plan grants access to (e.g. a venue area or benefit category). Each tag has a name, priority, and an Available toggle.
Apply taxes (optional)
Taxes are configured under your account's tax settings. Each tax shows its name and rate.
Save the plan
The plan is created and appears in the plans list. It is active by default.

| One-Time Setup Fee | Adds a one-time charge at signup. Cannot be edited after plan creation. |
| Setup Fee Amount | Dollar amount of the setup fee. |
| One-Time (Non-Recurring) Plan | Switches pricing from subscription to a single charge. |
| One-Time Price | Price for a non-recurring plan. Cannot be edited after plan creation. |
| Expiration Date | Date after which the one-time plan is no longer valid. |
| Monthly Rate | Recurring charge billed monthly. |
| Annual Rate | Recurring charge billed yearly. |
| Quarterly Rate | Recurring charge billed every three months. |
| Biannual Rate | Recurring charge billed every six months. |
