Set an internal target launch date and walk through every step required to take your venue live.
Branding and design
Upload your logos and banner, set your reservation page colors, and customize the booking page text in Settings → Global Settings.
Global settings
Set account-wide defaults — currency, date format, time slot duration, and the 24-hour clock — in Settings → Global Settings.
Create your first venue
Add a venue in Rex — from scratch or by cloning an existing one — fill in its details, configure its settings, and connect a payment processor so it can take bookings.
Create your resources
Create and manage the bookable inventory at your venue — lanes, bays, tables, rooms. Group resources into categories, use the quick generator, and control where each is bookable.
Create and configure a package
Create a bookable package — set pricing, resource allocation, duration, schedule, and assign resources.
Set up Stripe payments
Connect Stripe to your venue to accept online payments. Stripe is Rex's default processor and the only option included on the Core plan.
Host App overview
Tour of the Host App — the tool your front-of-house team uses to view reservations, check in guests, take walk-ins, manage payments, and block time.
Go live checklist
Final pre-launch verification — confirm your branding, packages, payments, and team are ready before flipping your venue from Coming Soon to Open.
Invite users and understand roles and permissions
Invite teammates to your Rex account, assign the right role, and manage existing users — change passwords, reassign venues, or remove access.
