Transfer existing members to Rex
Set up members in Stripe
Add each member as a Stripe customer
Locate your current member list and add each member as a customer in Stripe. Include as much information as possible, such as name and email address.
Create a Stripe subscription for each member
For each customer, create a subscription in Stripe. Set the start date to match their existing billing cycle (for example, the 15th of the month or the date their annual membership renews). Add the recurring cost and description.
Collect payment information
If you already have the member's card details, input them directly in Stripe. Otherwise, send an email invoice to collect payment. Once paid, their card is saved for future automatic payments.
Create memberships in Rex
Navigate to the memberships section
Log in to your Rex dashboard and create a new membership plan.
Enter the membership details
Fill in the membership name (for example, "Roller Skating Membership"), description, image, and recurring cost. Define the discounts or perks members receive, such as discounted reservations or exclusive access.
Link members to Rex memberships
Navigate to the Guest View in the Host App
Open the Host App and search for an existing guest or create a new guest profile.
Click Add Membership on the guest profile
Assign the relevant membership plan you created in Rex to the guest profile. Select the correct membership from the dropdown.
Enter the Stripe subscription URL
Locate the Stripe subscription URL for the member. Paste it into the membership connection field in Rex and save. This ties the member's Rex profile to their Stripe subscription.
Verify the setup by creating a test reservation
Ensure the guest profile is fully linked to both Rex and Stripe. Create a test reservation to confirm that membership benefits are applied correctly.
