Manage your Rex billing and plan
Everything about your Rex subscription lives in one place: your current plan, your payment method and billing email, your invoices, and the option to upgrade. You'll find it all under Settings → Billing & Plan in the admin dashboard.
Billing & Plan is only visible to account admins who have the Billing Manager permission. If you don't see it in the sidebar, ask an admin on your account to turn on Billing Manager for you — or to make the change themselves. (An admin sets this with the “Billing Manager” toggle when editing a user: “Allow this user to view billing and upgrade plans.”)
Open Billing & Plan
Go to Billing & Plan
In the dashboard sidebar, expand Settings and select Billing & Plan.
Review your billing information
The Billing Information section at the top of the page shows your subscription at a glance:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Plan | Your current subscription tier (for example, Rex Pro). |
| Next Renewal | The date your subscription renews and bills next. |
| Payment Method | The card on file — brand, last four digits, and expiry. Click Update to change it. |
| Billing Email | Where Rex sends billing notifications and receipts. Click Update to change it. |
Update your payment method or billing email
Click Update
Next to Payment Method or Billing Email, click Update. This opens Rex's secure billing portal in a new tab, where you can change your card details or billing email.
View or download invoices
Click View Invoices
Use the View Invoices button to open the billing portal, where you can see past invoices and download PDF receipts.
If your account has an outstanding payment, Rex may temporarily block it and show a banner reading “Your account is temporarily blocked because of outstanding payments.” Use the Make a payment link in that banner to settle the invoice and unlock your account.
Understand your plan
Your plan controls what your account can do — which features you can use, how many venues you can manage, and your level of support. Rex offers several plans: Rex Lite, Rex Core, Rex Growth, Rex Pro, and Rex Enterprise. Each plan card on the Billing & Plan page lists what's included and its price, so you can compare them side by side.
Higher plans unlock more advanced features. Depending on your plan, these can include add-ons, checkout questions, memberships, waivers, gift cards, surveys, marketing tools, the events calendar, waitlists, revenue tracking, and API access. If you try to turn on a feature your current plan doesn't include, Rex points you to Billing & Plan to upgrade to the plan that includes it.
Use the Monthly and Yearly tabs above the plan cards to compare pricing for each billing cycle.
Upgrade or change your plan
Each plan card shows a button that reflects where you stand: Current Plan on your active plan, and Upgrade Plan on a higher one.
Upgrade your plan
Click Upgrade Plan on the plan you want. An Upgrade Plan Confirmation window shows the prorated amount you'll be charged today and what your next invoice will be. Review it, then click Confirm and Upgrade — the change takes effect right away.
Downgrading to a lower plan isn't self-serve, because features you're using may not exist on the lower plan. If you select a lower plan you'll see a “Downgrade Not Available” message — click Contact Support (support@reservewithrex.com) and the Rex team will handle the change. Enterprise is also handled directly: use Upgrade to Enterprise → Contact Us for custom integrations, custom gift card options, a sandbox account, and a custom domain.
