Configure advanced package settings
Configure duration options, booking windows, visibility, thumbnail, and other advanced settings for a package.
Navigate to Duration Settings
The Duration Settings modal opens.
Choose a duration mode and set the duration
Select **Set Duration** to apply a fixed duration to all bookings, or **Guest Chooses Duration** to let guests pick from multiple options at checkout. For Set Duration, choose the duration from the dropdown. For Guest Chooses Duration, select one or more duration options.
Set buffer times and booking window
Set buffer times before and after each reservation to block adjacent slots. Set how far in advance guests can book and the minimum lead time required before a reservation starts.
Save
Click **Save changes**.
| Field | Description |

| Duration Mode | Fixed duration per booking, or guest-selectable from a list of options. |
| Duration | Length of each booking (shown when Duration Mode is Set Duration). |
| Duration Options | List of durations guests can choose from (shown when Duration Mode is Guest Chooses Duration). |
| Buffer time before reservation | Blocks this amount of time before each booking to allow setup. |
| Buffer time after reservation | Blocks this amount of time after each booking to allow turnover. |
| Booking Cut Off | Minimum hours before a reservation that a guest must book. |
| How far in advance can guests book? | Maximum number of days in advance a guest can make a booking. |
| Hide Duration | Hides the booking length from guest-facing views. |
| Show Time Windows | Displays the full start-to-end time window on each time slot instead of just the start time. |
| Assign Duration | Toggle on to map specific guest counts to specific durations automatically. |
Open Package Controls
Access these from the **Package Controls** panel on the right side of the package detail view. Changes save immediately on toggle.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Package Status | Set the package to Active (visible and bookable) or Inactive (hidden from guests). |
| Visibility | Choose Default (follows status), Admin Only (only staff can book), or Frontend Only (only online guests can book). |
| Parent Schedule | Inherit time slots from the venue schedule or from another package's schedule. |
| Resource Assignment | Controls how resources are assigned — Default, Side by Side Optional, or Side by Side Only. |
| Hidden Package | Hide the package from the booking page. Guests can still book using a direct link. |
| Contact Only | Disables direct booking and prompts guests to contact the venue instead. |
| Invite Guests | Allows the person booking to invite additional guests to the reservation. |
| Always Visible | Shows the package on the booking page even when no time slots are available for the selected date. |
| Show Next Available Times | When no times exist for the selected date, shows available slots from the next available days. |
Upload a Package Thumbnail
Click **Upload Image** and select an image file. The thumbnail is shown on the package card on the booking page.
Open Host Settings
These settings apply only to staff booking through the Host app.

| Card Color | Background color of this package's card in the Host app. |
| Min Guests for Host | Minimum guest count staff can enter when booking this package. |
| Max Guests for Host | Maximum guest count staff can enter. |
| Max Guests Per Lane for Host | Maximum guests per resource that staff can assign. |
| Host Cut Off Time (hours) | Minimum lead time in hours that applies to host bookings (can differ from guest cut-off). |
| Duration for Host | Duration options available when staff books this package. |
| How far in advance can hosts book? | Booking window for host bookings, independent of the guest window. |
| Enable Cancellation On No Show | Automatically trigger cancellation when the guest does not check in. |
| Enable QR Code for Check In | Generates a QR code on the reservation for scanning at check-in. |
Configure Cancel and Modify Rules
Click **Cancel and Modify Rules** in the settings card list to open the cancellation and modification settings for this package. Configure whether guests can cancel or modify, cut-off windows, and any fees that apply.
