Block reservations for a holiday
The fastest way to close your venue for a holiday is to create a block in the Host App. Blocks prevent new reservations for specific dates and times without changing your regular schedule.
Click Create in the Host App
Open the Host App and click Create in the top right corner.
Select Block
From the creation options, choose Block. This opens the block configuration form.
Enter a label and assign the dates
Give the block a descriptive label (for example, "Thanksgiving Closure") and set the dates you want to block reservations.
Set the blocked time range
Choose the times you want to block. You can block the entire day or just close early by blocking specific hours.
Select which resources or packages to block
Choose whether to block specific packages or all packages. If your venue is completely closed, block all resources. If you are only closing certain activities, select just those packages.
Click Create Block
Save the block. Guests will no longer be able to book reservations for the specified dates and times.
