Disable certain resources at certain times of day
Use blocks in the Host App to automatically close specific resources on recurring days and times.
Navigate to the Host App
Open the Host App from the left-side menu in your admin dashboard.
Click Create in the top right
This opens the creation dialog where you can set up a new block.
Select the Block tab
Switch to the Block tab to configure a resource block rather than a reservation.
Set the dates for the block
Choose the specific days these resources should be blocked. You can select recurring days or a date range.
Enter a name and select the times
Give the block a descriptive name like "Thursday Lane 2-3 Blocks" and set the time range during which the resources should be unavailable.
Select the resources to block
Choose which specific resources (lanes, bays, tables) should be disabled during the selected times.
Click Create Block
Save the block. The selected resources are now unavailable during the dates and times you specified, effectively disabling them for guest bookings.
