Reservation stuck in pending — how to diagnose and resolve payment issues
A reservation stuck in "Pending" check-in status usually means the payment is still being processed or there is an issue with payment capture.

Check the payment status
Open the reservation and review the payment status. "Uncaptured" means the authorization was approved but payment was not yet captured.

Check for Stripe authorization holds
If using Stripe, an "Uncaptured" payment means the authorization is placed but not finalized. In Stripe dashboard, manually capture or release the hold.

Review the payment processor dashboard
Log in to Stripe or Square and check the payment's status there. Look for any holds, disputes, or review flags.

Manually update status if needed
If the payment is confirmed but the reservation remains pending, contact Rex support to manually update the reservation status.
