Show sold-out times and set up waitlist alerts
By default a package lists only the time slots that are still bookable, so a busy day can look emptier than it really is. Two per-package settings change that, and they work as a pair: Show Sold Out Times keeps fully-booked slots on the grid (greyed out with a "Sold Out" label) so guests can see real demand, and Waitlist Alerts lets those guests sign up to be notified the moment a slot opens up after a cancellation.
Both settings live on the package, not the venue — set them per package under Manage → Venues → your venue → Packages → the package. Turn them on for every package where you want them.
Show sold-out time slots
Open the package's settings
On your venue's Packages tab, select the package, then open the Package Settings card to launch the Package Settings dialog.
Turn on Show Sold Out Times
Toggle on Show Sold Out Times and save. Fully-booked slots now stay on the grid, greyed out with a "Sold Out" label, instead of disappearing — so guests can tell the package is popular rather than unavailable.
Waitlist alerts (the Alert Me button)
With waitlist alerts on, guests see an Alert Me button below the time grid, and every sold-out slot becomes tappable. Either one opens the Waitlist Alert Details form, where the guest confirms the date, picks the time range they'd accept, and leaves their name and email. When a matching slot frees up on that date, Rex emails them automatically — first come, first served.

Open the Waitlist Alerts card
On the same package, find the Waitlist Alerts card.
Turn on Enable Waitlist Alerts
Toggle on Enable Waitlist Alerts to show the Alert Me button on this package. To also collect a phone number and text guests when a slot opens, turn on Text on priority alert as well — guests then see a "Notify me by text message" option on the form.
Pair the two: turn on Show Sold Out Times so guests see the demand, and Enable Waitlist Alerts so they can claim the next opening instead of leaving. Sold-out slots double as a one-tap way onto the waitlist.
Waitlist Alerts is a plan feature. If the card shows an upgrade prompt instead of the toggles, it isn't included in your current plan — reach out to Rex to add it.
